How to spot a fake class Instagram page

  • Check whether your school's admissions website or official accounts link to the page.
  • Look at who runs it. A trustworthy page tells you who is behind it.
  • Be careful with any page that makes you pay before it will post you.
  • Never send personal details like your address, ID or passwords in DMs.
  • If a page claims to be official, ask your admissions office to confirm.

Posting on a MeetYourClass page is always free. See our staying safe guide for more.
